Note: most of the ships (other than Algoma Central and Canada Steamship Lines) that

are hauling grain may just be clearing customs at Montreal then proceeding across the

Atlantic.  The AC and CSL ships unload into grain elevators along the St Lawrence river and

are exported on other ships.

Note the Welland Canal closes on Dec. 25th, the other locks on the St Lawrence River

close on December 30th and the Soo Locks close for winter maintenance on January 15th.
