My Testimony
In July of 1976, I accepted Jesus Christ as
my Lord and Savior. Earlier in my life, prior to the tumultuous teens and
terrible twenties, I was very religious but I did not have a personal
relationship with God. From the age of 13 until 1976 I was not a happy person.
They used to call me "Smiley" because I never smiled. When Jesus came
into my heart he changed me overnight. He put a love in my heart for other
people, and such a joy that comes from knowing how much God loves me.
My prayer is that you would find such a
relationship with our Lord as well. Please read the scriptures below. They are
known as Roman's Road as they all come from the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to
the Romans.
Roman's Road
As it is written, There is none righteous,
no, not one: (Romans 3:10)
For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God; (Romans 3:23)
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the
world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have
sinned; (Romans 5:12)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift
of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)
That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)
For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans
10:10)
